Description

The Canon DR-C225WII is a WiFi document scanner, based on a unique U-turn vertical scanning concept, making it possible to save 50% more space on your desktop compared to a conventional scanner. With the built-in WiFi card, the Canon DR-C225WII can be wirelessly shared between users and be controlled by any WiFi device: smartphone, tablet, PC and Mac.

Ergonomics
The Canon DR-C225WII offers day-to-day convenience: you retrieve the documents facing you and images are automatically oriented in the right direction for reading.  The manual selector enables you to switch to linear mode to scan rigid cards (social security card, ID card, etc.). Scans can be started using the control button or remotely with the wireless connectivity.

Features
The Canon DR-C225WII can be used for a large number of automatic image processing operations: documents can be deskewed, realigned, etc. and adjustments such as contrast can be made directly on the image. With Cloud service functionality, it is now possible to scan to Google Docs Evernote and SharePoint.

The software included offers you access to extensive features, for example with eCopy Pdf Pro Office: OCR, conversion to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, High-compression PDF, page reorganisation, side-by-side document comparison, etc. The included software, CaptureOnTouch offers an intuitive control interface with many useful features. With the CaptureOnTouch Mobile app (Available for free in the Apple App Store and in Google Play) get access to the main image process features like paper format detection, deskew and blank page removal, directly from your mobile device. For more versatility and to be able to scan bound documents, the Canon Flatbed 102 option is available (Windows compatibility only).

Performance 
With a speed of 25 ppm in USB and 22 ppm in WiFi mode (B&W, grayscale or colour), and thanks to an ADF with a capacity of up to 30 sheets and ultrasonic double feed detection, the Canon DR-C225WII has an average production capacity of 1500 pages/day.
