IBM System Storage EXP2500 Express storage enclosures enable flexible, low-cost storage capacity expansion of IBM System x servers to address growing storage needs.

EXP2500 delivers next-generation 6Gbps SAS disk storage technology in a compact 2U, 19-inch rack mount enclosure that connects directly to selected System x servers using the IBM ServeRAID M5025 SAS/SATA Controller. Storage capacity can be easily scaled by daisy-chain connection of multiple EXP2500 enclosures from a single ServeRAID M5025 controller port.
